The LTMS program is unique as students have the opportunity to take an additional daily string class in which they receive semi-private instruction.
Overall goals for the students include - developing a strong sense of rhythm via sight-reading and bow-use exercises, enhancing intonation (making finger patterns accurate and automatic, ear training, singing etc.), and increasing musical independence/team-work skills (students are self-directed and able to perform without a conductor).
